The Daughter's Of Osun - Ara Ifa Yoruba Orisa Traditional Center
My Blog

Welcome Blog

Greetings,
Thank you for visiting our Blog!

The energy of Osun appeared to me with a very clear message to share her compassionate information to women across the globe and this is how the Daughter's of Osun came about through the Holy Odu OseMeje. This information is shared and offered through her divine guidance with the Guidelines of Ara Ifa Yoruba Concepts.

We give credits for Ifa Cultural teachings to Olowo: Ara Ifa Ijo Orunmila Los Angeles, CA  Elder Olotoye Fasina Falade of Lynwood, CA an Ifa Priest and Ogun Priest of over 30 years.  in his quest for truth and better understanding, made the sacrifice and spent many years in devotional services to the late Araba in Legos, Nigeria.  He brought the pure teachings of Ifa here to an ungrateful confused community. Who now realize the validity of such sacred knowledge.

We must give and pay our respects to Elder, Awo Baba Losha Adeyemi Oyeilumi in Virginia Beach a Yoruba Priest of Obatala for over 50 years.. Who's knowledge and clarity has paved the way for many to follow.

Iya Nifa Chief Priestess of Osun Monife Belewa, in Pensacola, Florida, who has been a dedicated Yoruba Priestess.  My God Mother, My mother and My Friend who presented me with My Elekes in 1980.  It was She and Iya Losha Sango Bumi, ibaye bye tonu.  A priestess who raved the words "I LOVE THIS RELIGION".

We will throughout this blog share information, tapes, videos, pictures, dialogues and a wealth of information, even Yoruba word translations.

The Daughter's of Osun, has very high hopes to provide a forum that will surpass the America's to serve a virtual global reach, crossing color, class and cultural lines. Providing a network of positive egoless dialogue for precise, learning, and sharing positive information on African Yoruba Cultural and Ancestral Practices.

For an early student it is often confusing so this is our attempt to clear the path to a higher precise understanding. Our post will cover generic basic practices detailing procedures and principles.  Please follow them precisely for the best result.  It is not our intention to take the place of your God Mother's or God Father's but to aide you towards a better understanding.

Please feel comfortable when making a request on information of your interest.  We are not professing to know it all, but we will do our best to provide you with the answers you seek.

Our council of elders are standing by to assist you.  Again, we thank you for visiting our Blog!   From the Heart of Osun Yemu to all of yours!

 Peace, Love and Wellness

I am a priestess of Aganju (mother is Oshun). I am planning to move to Virginia beach in about 3 years. Am saving my pennies as I write this blog. I would like to learn about the Yoruba community in Virginia beach. Would appreciate any and all help in this matter. I am from the ILE OMIJOLA in the Bronx. One of the most respected houses in NYC.
